Privacy policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This policy explains how QuickPods ("we", "us") uses your personal data when you visit this website or register your interest. We follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
QuickPods is based in Warwick, UK, and is the data controller for the information described here. Contact us about privacy at hello@quickpods.co.uk.
What we collect
- Details you give us on our forms: name, email address, postcode, phone number (optional), likely hire dates and the reason for your enquiry.
- Basic technical information needed to run the site securely, such as server logs.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and tell you when bookings open — based on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on our form.
- To keep the website secure and working — based on our legitimate interests.
We will only send you marketing emails if you have agreed to it, and every email includes a way to unsubscribe. We never sell your data.
Who we share it with
Only with trusted service providers who host our website, store our data and send our emails on our behalf, under contracts that protect your data. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on UK-approved safeguards such as adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and launch-list details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is sooner.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Email hello@quickpods.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
